Our Mission

  • Nation Care is committed to providing social care and support services for people to enable them to remain at home and remain as independent as possible. The domiciliary care service seeks to provide support to a wide variety of Service Users.  It aims to enhance the quality of life of both service users and their carers.
  • To deliver a service of the highest quality that will improve and sustain the Service users’ overall quality of life. In this respect the Domiciliary Care Service is designed to meet, and where possible exceed, the National Minimum Care Standards, published by the Department of Health and monitored by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with an outcome focused approach and a people oriented fashion.
  • To ensure that each Service user’s needs and values are respected in matters of religion, culture, race or ethnic origin, sexuality and sexual orientation, political affiliation, marital status, parenthood and disabilities or impairments.
  • To ensure that the Care Service is delivered in accordance with agreed Purchasing Contracts and/or Care Agreements.
  • To manage and implement a normal programme of staff planning, selection, recruitment, training and personal development, to enable Service users’ care needs to be met.
  • To match the nominated care worker as closely as possible with the Service user and to respect the need to change the care worker in the event of subsequent non-compatibility.
  • To manage the Care Services efficiently and effectively to make best use of the resources and to maximize value for money for the purchaser/Service user.
  • To undertake a Risk Assessment of environmental Health & Safety hazards within the home of each new Service user and to ensure that areas of concern are duly reported to the purchaser/Service user. Such risk assessments will take into account the right of the Service user to take risks.
  • To ensure that all Service users receive written information of the Organisation’s Procedure for Handling Complaints, Comments, Suggestion and Compliments and how to use it.
